FCC Celebrates the Grand Opening of Mini-Pitch Soccer Park in West Miami! ⚽️
Golazo!!! This week, we were thrilled to celebrate the official grand opening of two new soccer mini-pitches in the City of West Miami. At FCC, we’re excited to bring our game to District 6, inspiring more kids through soccer while promoting health and well-being.
Our coaches hosted a fun mini session for the kids, complete with stretches, drills, and a live showcase of our mission in action. The event marked a big win for the community, thanks to our amazing partners: The Children's Trust, Miami-Dade County, Griffin Catalyst, and the U.S. Soccer Foundation, as part of the Miami-Dade Soccer Initiative. This incredible project is already making an impact, with 50 new soccer mini-pitches being developed across the county to provide safe, fun spaces for children to play.
A special thank you goes to Mayor Diaz-Padron and the City of West Miami for hosting this event, creating opportunities for kids to play soccer, build friendships, and thrive. We’re also grateful for the support of The Children’s Trust and FCC USA’s Just Ball Program, which ensures a safe and fun environment for kids to enjoy pick-up soccer games.
As we continue to work together, we’re reminded that “Great things are done by a team, not just individuals.” Let’s keep scoring goals for our community! 💪⚽
