New Partnership at Comstock Elementary: A Journey of Mutual Growth

FCC’s first session at Comstock Elementary School was an unforgettable experience for both the kids and our coaches. 🌟

We worked with three groups of children (ages 4-7), full of energy and excitement. Through fun activities like passing games and relay races, the kids practiced teamwork, built confidence, and discovered how to solve challenges together. For example, one game involved kids working as a team to pass the ball without dropping it, encouraging collaboration and patience.

For our coaches, the day was equally enlightening. One child hesitated to join at first, watching quietly from the sidelines. By creating a safe, welcoming space and using gentle encouragement, the coaches saw the child gradually step in, smile, and start participating. Moments like these teach our coaches the importance of empathy, patience, and adapting to each child’s needs.

It’s these exchanges—where kids and coaches learn from one another—that make every FCC session so impactful. Together, we’re creating a space where growth, understanding, and joy are shared by all. ⚽💙
